Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a workpiece fixing device of a machine with which a worker can connect and disconnect a workpiece in a comfortable position.
CONSTITUTION: A workpiece fixing device 1 of a machine tool has a base 2 fixed on a work table, a fixing block 3 fastened on the upper surface of the base 2 and a movable block 4 provided on the upper surface of the base 2 free to move and to press a workpiece against the fixing block 3. Additionally, the fixing block 3 is arranged on the front side of the base 2 and the movable block 4 is arranged on the rear side of the base 2, and the moving direction of the movable block 4 at the time of workpiece fixing operation is made to face front.
