To reliably suck a workpiece so as to be set at a processing section even when the workpiece or the processing section is slanted with respect to the elevation direction of a suction head.
The work handling device includes a control means 70 for drive-controlling a handler 10 which has an articulated type arm 410 driven in the horizontal direction and perpendicular direction so as to carry the work, and a suction head 420 provided at the tip of the arm 410, wherein the suction head includes a holder 424 which defines a negative pressure path and a cavity section, an upper side head 421 which supports the holder, a lower side head 422 reciprocatably connected to the upper side head, a spring 429c which energizes the lower side head in the same direction as in the upper side head, and a movable pipe 427 which is slidably inserted into an insertion hole of the lower side head and can communicate with the negative pressure path, whose upper end is coupled with the cavity section so as to be rockable within a predetermined angular range to the holder, and whose lower end is provided with a suction pad. Accordingly the device allows the workpiece to be reliably sucked and set at the processing section.
