Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece loading device that saves on installation space and reduces time for exchanging its attachment, and also to provide a method for exchanging its attachment.
SOLUTION: The method includes: a process for storing the used attachments of centering devices 3a, 3b and/or the attachments of robots 4a to 4d, in any pallet to be loaded on a pallet feeder 8 that makes a pallet 6 movable between a workpiece loading position inside a movable area of robots and a prescribes position outside the movable area; and a second process for mounting, on the centering devices and the robots, the attachments that are placed on the pallet identical with or different from the foregoing pallet and that are to be used nest for the centering devices and/or the robots.
