Abstract:

To provide a workpiece machining device that enables a die to be moved by a transfer robot, while gripping a workpiece with the hand of the transfer robot.

A workpiece machining device is characterized by: making a hand and a workpiece retreat to a position of not interacting with a press brake 10, while gripping the workpiece W with a hand 56, by upwardly bending a wrist part 55 of a vertical articulated robot 50; inserting an engagement projection 60 arranged at the tip end of an upper arm 54 or the wrist part 55 to an engagement hole 17a of a lower die 17 of the press brake 10 in this state; and moving the lower die 17 along the groove of a die holder 15 by the movement of the vertical articulated robot 50.
