Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably mold a workpiece of desired shape from a thin-walled disklike blank without exchanging a gripping member that grips the blank.SOLUTION: (1) The outer end of a blank 40 is increased in wall thickness with a tool 78a the surface of which is recessed. (2) A thickness-increased part is 2-split with a tool 78c the surface of which is sharp in a V shape. (3) The surface of one of the split parts where the thickness-increased part is 2-split axially is pressed to form a recess in the surface with a salient of the tool 78c the surface of which is projected. (4) A flange part is molded with a tool 78d formed in a columnar or conical shape with an outer face turning in the axial direction of the blank. (5) A drum part is molded with a tool 78e the surface of which is projected.
