PURPOSE: To securely support a workpiece to be cut by a supporting member by forming the workpiece supporting member that has been provided to a base body consisting of a flat box body with a metallic net.

CONSTITUTION: A workpiece placing jig 11 is provided with a base body 12 that has been placed on a two-shaft or three-shaft robot arranged so as to be opposite to a jet nozzle, and a supporting member 13 for supporting a workpiece to be cut that has been placed on the base body 12. The base body 12 is formed by a flat box body, and the supporting member 13 of the workpiece is formed by a metallic net 13a. As a result, the workpiece to be cut can be securely supported by the supporting member 13, and there is no possibility that a soft article to be cut falls down into a drain port or the like, and that a large article to be cut falls down from the end part of a two-shaft or three- shaft robot.
