To provide a workpiece separation apparatus which has comparatively simple constitution.

The workpiece separation apparatus includes:an elevating table 12 which has a workpiece placing face 11 and is constituted so as to be reciprocated between a first position where the conveying face 7 of a conveying device 2 and the workpiece placing face 11 are at the same height and a second position which is higher than the first position; a first energizing means 13 for energizing the elevating table 12 upward; a workpiece positioning means 14 for positioning the workpiece placed on the workpiece placing face 11 in the conveying direction A when the elevating table 12 is at the first position; and a pressing means 15 which is mounted fixedly to the vertically moving upper die 5 of a press working apparatus 3 and which presses the elevating table 12 against the first position when the upper die 5 is lowered and the releases elevating table 12 to allow it to move to the second position when the upper die 5 is elevated.
