To provide a workpiece setting device capable of setting a workpiece on a processing stand of a processing machine or resetting a processed component from the processing stand without hard work.
The workpiece setting device includes: a sliding plate 2; a lifter 5 provided with a fork 6 whose height is almost the same as the sliding plate 2 in ascending, and stored in a recessed part 1b of the processing stand 1a of the processing machine 1 in descending; and a manual type lifting mechanism 9 of the lifter 5. The manual type lifting mechanism 9 includes: a linear bush 8 guiding the lifter 5 in a manner of freely ascending/descending; a pivotal movement cam plate 12 equipped with an operating handle 10 on its upper part in which the lower end part is pivotally fitted to a frame 7 by a horizontal axis; and a fixed cam plate 11 disposed adjacent to the pivotal movement cam plate 12 and in which a circular cam groove 15a with the horizontal axis as a center is formed. A cam mechanism 13 in which cam followers 10a provided on the operating handle 10 are engaged with a cam groove 16 formed on the pivotal movement cam plate 12 and the circular cam groove 15a of the fixed cam plate 11, the lifter 5 is pushed up when the pivotal movement cam plate 12 is rotated upward, is provided in the manual type lifting mechanism 9.
