PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece supply apparatus and a hot press apparatus capable of shortening time until pressing starts after a workpiece is heated and suppressing the temperature fall of the workpiece.SOLUTION: A workpiece supply apparatus comprises: a pedestal part 15 provided to be movable forward and backward via a rail 13; a heating part main body 16 mounted on the pedestal part; driving means 17 moving the pedestal forward and backward; an electrical conductive part 24 extending from the heating part main body; a heating part 25 formed in a tip end portion of the electrical conductive part and heating a workpiece 26; a shaft body 22 extending from the pedestal part; and a workpiece mount part 23 provided on a tip end of the shaft body and located below the heating part, the workpiece mount part including a frame section having front, upper and lower surfaces that are open; a workpiece mount plate on which the workpiece is mounted and which is opened or closed on the upper surface of the frame section; a plate fixing plate that can engage and disengage the workpiece mount plate; and a guide cylinder provided below the workpiece mount plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
