Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece transport device for a press, a device that has the capability to adjust a feed stroke, stroke and transport height of a workpiece individually for each process, that facilitates transportation of a workpiece having a different pitch between machining processes, and that allows the most suitable dies to be designed for each process.
SOLUTION: The device is equipped with: at least a pair of lift beams (13) installed in parallel to the work transport direction and freely movably in the vertical direction; at least one carrier (15) provided on each lift beam (13) movably in the longitudinal direction of the lift beam; sub-carriers (30) installed movably along the guide (37) of the carrier (15) in the carrier traveling direction by means of a linear motor (31); and a cross bar (17) spanning over the pair of oppositely facing sub-carriers (30) and having a workpiece holding means (18).
