To solve the problem with a conventional workpiece turning device, wherein, in liquid honing processing, there has been frequently employed a mechanism that a rack and a pinion are driven by an air cylinder, and a workpiece is made to abut on a stopper by being turned with a pivotal support axis as a center, and stopped at a desired angle, however, this causes the complication of structure and a cost increase associated with the complication has been inevitable.
The workpiece 16 being an object to be processed is pressed and held from both sides at respective tips of a reference pin 8 and a press pin 9 which penetrate a pair of opposing side faces 3 in a box-shaped processing chamber 1, and are horizontally and coaxially pivoted so as to oppose each other. A drive shaft 15 of a rotary actuator which is fixed to the outside of the processing chamber 1 is coaxially connected to a base 10 of the reference pin 8, and the reference pin 8 is turned by the drive shaft 15, thus stopping the turn of the workpiece 16 at an arbitrary angle.
