Abstract:
To confirm the bending of a worm shaft of a worm reducer from the outside of a housing.SOLUTION: A worm reducer 150 comprises a worm wheel 163, a worm shaft 164, and a housing 153. The worm reducer 150 comprises: an insertion hole 157 provided so as to penetrate through the housing 153 on the opposite side of the worm wheel 163 with respect to the worm shaft 164 at an intermediate position in an axial direction of the worm shaft 164; and a marking member 180 that is inserted into the insertion hole 157 so as to protrude toward the worm shaft 164, and is pushed out toward the outside of the housing 153 by the worm shaft 164 that bends when an overload occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
