Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound dressing that maintains a humid environment and having cushioning properties.SOLUTION: A wound dressing 1 includes a first absorbing layer 3 having water absorbing properties, a second absorbing layer 5 having absorbability and water retention characteristics, a waterproof layer 7 for preventing liquid leakage to the outside, and a dressing 9 having multiple holes 11 for wrapping the first absorbing layer 3, the second absorbing layer 5 and the waterproof layer 7. Accordingly, a body fluid oozed out from a bedsore affected area is absorbed by the first absorbing layer 3 through the holes 11 of the dressing 9, and the second absorbing layer 5 absorbs extra body fluid from the first absorbing layer 3 and holds it when the first absorbing layer 3 becomes saturation or near to saturation, and thereby the bedsore affected area can be maintained in a moderate humid environment. Also, the pressure applied to a body by an external force can be eased by the first absorbing layer 3 having cushioning properties.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
