Abstract:
To provide a wound dressing material that provides a moist environment necessary for cell migration and proliferation, supplies ions such as calcium and boron to the wound surface to accelerate the wound healing process, and has a bactericidal property to prevent the critical colonization and infection of bacteria on the wound surface.SOLUTION: The wound dressing material is a fiber laminate comprising a hydrogel fiber layer containing organic fibers capable of forming a hydrogel and a glass fiber layer containing glass fibers including B2O3 and CaO as glass constituent components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
