The wound and false-twisted composite yarn has an opening part at which a sheath yarn does not wind around a core yarn, a single-winding part at which the sheath yarn singly winds around the core yarn, and a multi-winding part at which the sheath yarn winds around the core yarn four or more-fold, and which exhibits a spindle-shaped nep structure, coexisting together. The multi-winding part includes the multi-winding part having <3 mm length.
