Abstract:
To provide a wound motor system and an abnormality detection method capable of suppressing burnout of an electric motor.SOLUTION: The wound motor system in an embodiment is a wound-rotor type motor that rotates a shaft, which includes: a collector ring that rotates with a shaft; the wound-rotor type motor that has a brush that slides on the rotating collector ring and electrically connects to the collector ring; a thermometer that measures the temperature of the collector ring or brush without contact; and a controller that determines that an abnormality has occurred in the wound-rotor type motor on the basis of the temperature of the collector ring or brush and stops the operation of the wound-rotor type motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
