Abstract:
To reduce a start time during which a starting current flows in a wound-rotor induction motor.SOLUTION: A wound-rotor comprises a rotor shaft extending in a shaft direction; a rotor core provided outside in a radial direction of the rotor shaft; a coil body 110 provided with a plurality of coil elements 111, 112, 113 connected to each other in series, that passes through the rotor core; and a switching part 120 for switching to a direction of sequentially reducing the configuration number of effective series elements for the coil elements 111, 112, 113 during rising of the number of rotations of the rotor shaft, that are attached to the rotor shaft. The switching part 120 comprises a plurality of switches 121, 122a, 122b, 123 arranged so as to reduce the configuration number of effective series elements for the coil elements during starting, and each of these may be operated in the number of rotations of each rotor shaft to be operated by centrifugal force given by the rotation of the rotor shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
