To provide a wound wire binder capable of cutting a wire to predeter mined length, coiling it, and automating a step of winding, binding and accommo dating the wire in a hopper.
A wire feeding unit 40 marks the wire, and the wire is cut to the predetermined length by a cutter 23. The cut wire is coiled around a winding reel 1. A tape feeding unit 2 feeds a tape from a reel 11 by blowing air from an air blower 9 through pulleys 5 and 12 and a roller 7, and the unit 2 itself is moved close to and parallel to a shaft of the winding reel 1. A tape holding unit 3 is similarly moved to the front side of the winding reel 1, and the tape is sucked and held by a holding unit 10, an arm of an adhesion driving device is extended to pass the tape into the winding through a groove of the reel 1. A tape push-out cylinder 8 is extended to push up the tape, rollers at tips of both arms of the cylinder 8 and the adhesion driving device 13 are brought into contact with each other, and the tapes between the rollers are pressed and adhered. Then, the tape is cut by the cutter 6 to complete the binding. After the binding is completed, the right and left reels 1 are opened to drop the wound wire into the hopper 15.
