Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric for dustproof garment and the resultant dustproof garment having both high antistatic performance and dust-trapping efficiency having been unable to be attained by conventional technology and also having high laundering durability.
SOLUTION: The woven fabric comprises (A) combined filament yarns which, in turn, comprise electrically conductive conjugate filaments made from a fiber- forming polymer and an electrically conductive microparticles-containing polymer with a part of the latter polymer exposed on the fiber surface and an electrically conductive microparticles-free filaments and (B) electrically conductive microparticles-free filaments, wherein the combined filament yarns A are used as both the warps and wefts at 2-10 mm intervals, and an antistatic agent adheres to the fiber surface. The woven fabric has a dust-trapping efficiency of ≥50% and a frictional electrification voltage of ≤100 V.
