Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a rough woven fabric, comprising metallized yarns capable of assuming faint brilliancy from the back surface while using the metallized yarns used as warp yarns and excellent in fancy effects.
CONSTITUTION: This woven fabric is obtained by using hand spun silk yarns or the hand spun silk yarns and silk yarns as front warp yarns, metallized yarns in the back warp yarns and the hand spun silk yarns as weft yarns, weaving the front and back textile weave into a rib or mat weave and the back textile weave into a twill or a satin weave and alternately weaving the front and back so as to provide the weft yarns in a wavy form.
