Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a woven fabric of flat yarn capable of exhibiting an inexpensive cost and high strength characteristics as a reinforcing base for RRP maintaining a flat state even in the case of a flat yarn comprising a thick yarn and to provide both a method for producing the woven fabric of flat yarn and an apparatus for producing it.
SOLUTION: This method for producing a woven fabric of flat yarn includes a weft providing process comprising horizontally taking out and unreeling a weft Twf at a constant speed from a weft bobbin 1 wound with a weft comprising a flat yarn, locating the weft Twf by guide rollers 5 to 7 in the horizontal direction at a weft supplying position and supplying the weft Twf under tension while retaining the weft Twf of length required for weft inserting once for warps Twr between the weft bobbin and the guide rollers 5 to 7.
