Title:
WOVEN FABRIC HAVING BRAILLE POINT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3530864
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Braille point-having woven fabric in which the Braille points are not worn out, are not deformed, of course, are not lost, and can easily be read in a largely raised state, when disposed in a wear.
SOLUTION: This Braille point-having woven fabric produced by alternately weaving warps 5 and wefts 6 is characterized by controlling the upward and lower movements of warps 5 with a Jacquard, operating thick wefts 6 with a first shuttle 9 to weave the plain fabric portion 2, and subjecting thicker wefts 7 for Braille points to a variable speed multi-layer weaving treatment using a second shuttle 11, thus partially raising the woven fabric to form the Braille points.
