To provide a woven fabric having a frill, capable of producing a skirt having a beautiful frill or a blouse having a frill or the like at low cost.
There is provided a woven fabric having a frill, in which a frill cloth part 2 and a base cloth part 3 are provided in a portion on an end side of a binding part 1 formed by waving the woven fabric vertically folded in two, so as to be vertically separated with the frill cloth part 2 placed on top of the base cloth part 3. Accordingly, the woven fabric having the frill allows the binding part 2 and the base cloth part 3 to be sequentially woven up, thereby easily producing a beautiful frill only by applying a merrow lock stitch for preventing fraying of ends of the frill cloth part 2 and the base cloth part 3, or the like.
