PURPOSE: To obtain woven fabric different in kind, providing woven fabric with a three-dimensional feeling of knit fabric by knitting yarn in between adjoining weft of woven texture comprising warp and weft to form knit texture.
CONSTITUTION: In a process wherein knitting needles of a knitting machine are arranged in the arrangement direction of warps 3 between a frame of a weaving machine and a cloth fell and weaving texture is formed from warp 3 and weft 4, when the frame of a weaving machine is retreated after the weft 4 is beaten by a reed, the knitting needles are successively driven, knitting yarn 5 is inserted in between adjoining weft 3, the warps 3 and the weft 4 intersect and knitting texture 2 is knitted to form weaving texture 1.
