Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain soft padding cloth for lady dress and blouse, having excellent draping properties by scouring woven fabric composed of spun yarn of split-fiber type conjugate staple by a liquid flow dyeing machine and subjecting to weight-loss treatment.
CONSTITUTION: Spun yarn composed of split-fiber type conjugate staple consisting of a polyamide component and a polyester component is used as warp and/or weft to weave woven fabric such as plain weaves. Then the woven fabric is scoured by a liquid flow dyeing machine, subjected to weight-loss treatment with caustic soda, the conjugate yarn is split and downy fluff is formed on the surface of the woven fabric.
