Title:
WOVEN FABRIC SIMILAR TO LENO WEAVE OR PLAIN GAUZE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3101727
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the woven fabric having an appearance similar to the tissue of a leno weave or a plain gauze by superposing two kinds of wefts having different colors on each other so as to form fine tissues on the lower layer side and rough tissues on the upper layer side in the tissues of arranged warps and further disposing inlaid tissues on the front and back sides of the superposed weft tissues.
SOLUTION: The lower and upper layers of superposed wefts comprise foil yarns 2 and twisted yarns, respectively. The wefts to be superposed are superposed on the wefts 3, 4 of the other inlaid tissue. The twisted yarn of the upper layer is omitted for each jumping of the warp over the superposed weft once or more to expose the foil yarn 2 of the lower layer to the surface of the woven fabric.
