Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a woven fabric of a filament and staple complex structure, having water permeability as pleasant functionality, a soft touch in wearing a garment as clothing of a relatively thin fabric, pleasantness caused by water absorption/diffusivity, tension, stiffness, repulsion and drape properties.
SOLUTION: This woven fabric of filament and staple complex structure is a woven fabric of multiple structure comprising warps at the surface side composed of stable spun yarn and warps at the back side composed of a twisted multifilament yarn, having a texture in which the back side makes a point contact with a contact face. The relation of the arrangement of the warps at the surface side to the warps at the back side is preferably 2:1 to 12:1.
