PURPOSE: To provide a woven fabric for stereoscopically shaped articles having an elastic modulus and a coefficient of linear thermal expansion isotropically in the plane, by comprising many obliquely directed fibers having two kinds of oblique angles with respect to the radiating direction from the center and a peripherally directed fiber woven in the woven fabric spirally in the peripheral direction.
CONSTITUTION: Obliquely directed fibers 1 having a +θ direction with respect to the radiative direction R from the center are opened and a peripherally directed fiber 3 is inserted into the obliquely directed fibers. Obliquely directed fibers 2 having a -θ direction are opened and the peripherally directed fiber 3 is inserted. The opening of the obliquely directed fiber 1 having a +θ direction are reversed and the peripherally directed fiber 3 is subsequently inserted between the opening. The opening of the obliquely directed fibers 2 are reversed and the peripherally directed fiber 3 is inserted between the opening. The operation is subsequently repeated to weave the peripherally directed fiber 3 and the obliquely directed fibers 1 and 2, thereby providing the three-dimensionally woven fabric.
