Abstract:

To obtain a woven fabric such as a woven name fabric or an emblem containing a hollow woven fabric or a double woven fabric and having a three- dimensional feeling with bulkiness in the fabric part.

This woven fabric is obtained by heat-cutting a broad woven fabric 2 on first and second heat-cut lines CL1 and CL2 extending in the warp yarn direction and the weft yarn direction. The broad woven fabric 2 comprises first weave parts 3 of a desired width along the respective heat-cut lines CL1 and CL2 and second weave parts 4 divided with the first weave parts 3. The first weave parts 3 are woven into an integral construction of the right and the back sides by plain weave or twill weave and the second weave parts 4 are a two-layer weave containing the right fabric and the back fabric simultaneously woven with double weave such as a hollow weave. At least one of the right and back fabrics is composed of a warp yarn weave roughly fastened on the inner surface side thereof with weft yarns and the woven fabric such as the woven name fabric of emblem has a three-dimensional feeling with the second weave parts 4 swollen with the shrinkage of the warp yarns by heat- setting treatment.
