Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a woven fabric excellent in puffy feel and drapeability despite being natural leather-toned, also having new surface effect unique to synthetic fibers.

CONSTITUTION: The woven fabric comprised of heteroshrinkable combined filament yarns, with a shrinkage difference of ≥2% each in the constituent warps and wefts, has the following characteristics: (1) the wefts are made up of low-shrinkage multifilament yarns ≤0.5 denier in single fiber fineness and high-shrinkage multifilament yarns 21 denier in single fiber fineness, the low- shrinkage multifilament yarns having fluffs; and (2) the warps has a real twist of ≥350 T/M, and partly exposed on the fabric surface at the fabric texture points.
