Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric having cool feeling and elegant appearance.
SOLUTION: Flat warp bundles 13, 14 are formed by using a set of parallelly arranged plural warps. Two flat warp bundles 13, 14 are crossed in the form of X at proper intervals to form a twisted part 12, which is woven into the ground texture 11. Both of the flat warp bundles 13, 14 are woven with a weft 16 common to the ground texture to connect the twisted part 12 to the ground texture 11 at the part 15 where both flat warp bundles 13, 14 in the twisted part are directed parallel to each other. At the other part 17 where both flat warp bundles 13, 14 are crossed with each other, a weft 16 is used for each flat warp bundle 13, 14 to independently weave each flat warp bundle 13, 14 in a state separated from the ground texture 11. The obtained woven fabric has an appearance having a twisted pattern of a partly separated flat warp bundle texture formed in the ground texture 11.
