Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a woven fabric having formed a relatively large three- dimensional pattern by a technique different from conventional techniques.
SOLUTION: Pattern wefts 14 and 15 for providing a ground pattern are woven on densely arranged warps 11 properly in the same manner as that of an ordinary woven fabric. A part A corresponding to a projecting part of the ground pattern texture 16 is raised by a floating weft 12 having rigidity such as a black Japanese lacquer yarn, a metallic yarn, etc., and a part B corresponding to a recessed part is suppressed to provide the surface with an uneven pattern.
