Abstract:
To provide a woven or knit fabric having good feeling, light weight and high water absorption.
A honeycomb weave made of a multifilament composed of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer fiber and a polyester fiber having a single fiber fineness of ≤1.1 dtex is crosslinked with acetal in an aqueous solution containing a specific amount of bisethylene dioxynonane under acidic condition of pH 1.0-5.0 at 100-140°C.
