Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a woven or knit fabric having excellent compression characteristics, light weight, high bulkiness and high form stability against external force applied to the fabric after weaving or knitting.
CONSTITUTION: The objective bulky woven or knit fabric having a thickness of ≥5mm is produced e.g. by a double Ruschel knitting machine and composed of top and back base fabrics and yarns connecting the base fabrics. The diameter of single filament of the synthetic fiber constituting the connecting yarn is ≥50μm.
