Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven knitted fabric comprising a paper yarn and a method for manufacturing the same, that is soft feeling even when a twist yarn in which a paper slit yarn is used is applied.SOLUTION: A woven knitted fabric comprising a paper yarn according to the present invention contains a twist yarn of a paper slit yarn (1) alone or twisted of the slit yarn (1) with other fiber yarns (4,5), and comprises a fuzz (30) and a scuff (31) on its surface, which is raised. A method for manufacturing the woven knitted fabric comprising the paper yarn according to the present invention is that a twist yarn of a paper slit yarn (1) alone or twisted of the slit yarn (1) with another fiber yarn is used for a woven knitted fabric, the woven knitted fabric is raised. With this raising, a pulp fiber on the surface of the paper slit yarn is arranged into a fuzz to soften a surface touch. In addition, drape or strength of the paper slit yarn is decreased by damaging the paper slit yarn to improve a flexibility.
