To provide: a woven or knitted fabric which has irregularities reversibly formed on a surface of the woven or knitted fabric in wetting, and on the other hand, reduces the irregularities in drying; a method for producing the same; and a fiber product.
The woven or knitted fabric having irregularities formed thereon in wetting comprises a crimped fiber A that reduces a crimp percent in wetting and a fiber B that is a non-crimped fiber or a crimped fiber not substantially changing the crimp percent in wetting. A rate of irregularity change calculated according to the following expression, the rate (%) of irregularity change=((TW-TD)/TD)×100, is 5% or more, where (TD) is a thickness in drying and (TW) is a thickness in wetting of the woven or knitted fabric.
