Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping net which can be easily removed when grass is transported, stored and used as silage, which has little influence on livestock even when the residue of the wrapping net is mixed into feed, and which enables highly nutritious dried grass or silage to be made at low cost because the grass near the surface of a roll bale does not become deteriorated.SOLUTION: A wrapping net is formed of a knitted fabric in which warp yarns comprising cellulosic fibers arranged in parallel in the lengthwise direction of the knitted fabric form respective multiple independent chain stitches with loops continuously arranged in the lengthwise direction of the knitted fabric, and each loop of each independent chain stitch is connected with another loop of another independent chain stitch by a weft yarn comprising cellulosic fibers. In the knitted fabric, the yarn strength of each warp yarn is larger than the yarn strength of the weft yarn, and lactic acid bacteria or lactic acid is adhered to one or both of the warp yarn and weft yarn.
