Abstract:
To facilitate assembling and disassembling and to improve the air-tightness.
This writing device 4 comprises a case body 22 having an opening 21 on its upper face, a writing means which is housed in the case body 22 and forms an electrostatic latent image on a surface of a photosensitive body (an image carrier body) 14 by radiating a laser light to the surface, a cover 24 for covering the opening 21 by being attached to the case body 22, and a seal material 26 for closing the gap between the cover 24 and the case body 22. The cover 24 and the seal material 26 are integrally formed with each other. The cover 24 is formed of a resin and the seal material 26 is formed of an elastomer of which the bonding force with the resin is weak.
