Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the degree of freedom in setting beam thickness of X-rays. SOLUTION: This X-ray CT scanner is equipped with an X-ray tube 111 to irradiate X-rays to a subject, a variable X-ray diaphragm 111c to stop down beam thickness of the X-rays, an X-ray detector 112 with plural detecting elements arranged in a matrix to detect X-rays passed through the subject, a memory part 12M to store plural correction data files corresponding to a plurality of beam thickness, a pretreatment part 123 to correct output of the X-ray detector 112 based on at least one correction data file read out from the memory part 12M, a reconstruction part 125 to reconstruct image data relating to the subject based on output of the pretreatment part 123, and a control part 121 to control the variable X-ray diaphragm 111c to change X-ray thickness regardless of a plurality of beam thickness corresponding to the plural stored correction data files.
