To provide an X-ray CT apparatus performing temperature control of an X-ray detection part without using a heating means such as a heater.
The X-ray CT apparatus includes a rotation base mounted with a plurality of units including an X-ray generation part irradiating X-rays to a test subject and the X-ray detection part detecting the X-rays transmitted through the test subject. The X-ray CT apparatus also includes a path part communicating the X-ray detection part, the X-ray generation part, and at least one of the other units except the X-ray detection part. The X-ray CT apparatus further includes an air supply part sending air of the other unit to the X-ray detection part through the path part. The X-ray CT apparatus also includes a temperature measurement part measuring a temperature inside the X-ray detection part. The X-ray CT apparatus also includes a control part performing operation control of the air supply part based on a measurement result by the temperature measurement part.
