PURPOSE: To exactly execute the radiation medical treatment by obtaining a transmission image by an X-ray CT being equal to a transmission image obtained by looking at a person to be examined from a radiation source placed at a larger distance that a distance between a radiation source of the X-ray CT and the isocenter.
CONSTITUTION: A gantry 2 is contained in a table 3, a scan is started under the control of the gantry based on a store program, data is recorded in a magnetic disk device 32, and the data concerned is sent to a scan and tomography image calculating unit 33 and image is reconstituted and displayed on a black- and-white display unit 34. Subsequently, a color display calculation processing unit 35 executes the reconstitution of a viewing image and a target image, studies a medical treatment method, and also, displays it on a color display unit 36. Next, when the gantry 2 is inclined, based on a control signal stored in a floppy disk device 31 in order to align an angle of a tomography image by each scan with an angle of a radiation transmission path, a table controller 41 controls a position of the table 3 in the gantry, a transmission image looked at by a square pyramid beam of a radiation from an arbitrary direction is obtained, and the radiation medical treatment can be executed exactly.
