To provide an improved X-ray detector, a method for evaluating the signal of the X-ray detector, and an X-ray inspection device allowing an optimum measurement in a wide dynamic range without requiring the previous set by a user.
This X-ray detector comprises at least one conversion unit 1 for converting absorbed X-ray dose, at least one evaluation unit 10 for amplifying a charge signal and further processing it, and at least one data processing unit 11 for data capture, further processing and output. The charge signal is first amplified by an input amplifier 2 in the evaluation unit 10, and then evaluated in parallel in a counting channel 5 and an integrator channel 7. The charge signal is counted in the counting channel, and the overall charge is integrated in the integrator channel as the measurement value of the energy transmitted by the conversion unit 1.
