To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus and an image processing program for the same, improving the manipulation efficiency in the catheter manipulation.
A radiographic mechanism 10 photographs a subject with X rays, and an A/D converting part 22 obtains X-ray image data. A three-dimensional vascular image memory 26 stores three-dimensional image data on the angiographed blood vessels of the subject. A region identifying part 40 identifies a first concerned region set on the vascular image and an approximately anatomically identical second concerned region on the three-dimensional image via an input device 50. A three-dimensional image processing part 38 projects the three-dimensional concerned region image data on the identified second concerned region to generate concerned vascular image data. A display part 48 matches the position of the generated X-ray image to the position of the concerned vascular image to display the superimposed images.
