In the X-ray diagnostic apparatus comprising an X-ray image detector for detecting X-rays exposed from an X-ray tube to a subject and an image processing part for processing image signals from the X-ray image detector, the image processing part replaces at least one of the pixel value of a pixel after matrix transformation processing and the pixel value of a defective pixel with the pixel value of a prescribed pixel in the case of performing at least one of the matrix transformation processing of an output image from the X-ray image detector and the correction processing of the defective pixel of the X-ray image detector.
