To provide an X-ray diagnosing apparatus and failure a diagnosing method by which a constituent element out of order can be easily identified from each constituting element carrying out data processing for reconstituting image data based on the detection result of X-ray.
The X-ray diagnosis apparatus has a detecting means 13 irradiating a subject P with X ray and detecting the transmitted X-ray from the subject, test data generators 155, 182, 192, 322, and 332 are arranged respectively in a plurality of constituents 15, 18, 19, 32, and 33 constituting the X-ray diagnosing apparatus for carrying out the data processing for converting the output of the detecting means to digital data to reconstitute the image data, and processing signals are output by applying the respective test data generated in the test data generators of any of the constituent to the constituent and the constituent connected to and arranged in the downstream.
