Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make an X-ray tube rotate in a holder without causing leakage of a cooling medium by installing a tubular pipe which is a pipe means extended from one end of the X-ray tube to the other end. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray tube 31 is installed in an X-ray tube holder 12 by an installation flange 38 which cooperatively works with a rim 44 formed in the X-ray tube holder, positioned at a proper angular position by projected parts 46, and fixed by being pinched by the holder 12 or by a fastening ring 20. A cooling medium is led to the flange 38 in which two water channels 40, 42 are formed on the exactly opposite position to each other through a connection part 22 and a conduit pipe 34 made of a part of the holder 12. The cooling medium is then supplied to thermally couple two pipes 52, 54 introduced into a water storage tank 58, and cools the anode 32.
