Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray generator and an X-ray imaging apparatus in which positional accuracy can be improved.SOLUTION: An X-ray imaging apparatus 1 includes a plurality of targets 37 which are arranged on a plane and generate X-rays due to collision of an electron beam B. The focal position of the X-ray is changed by emitting the electron beam B deflected by a deflection coil to the targets 37 by switching the respective targets 37. When an X-ray tube 3 is used in the X-ray imaging apparatus 1, X-ray imaging from various focal positions can be performed without moving the X-ray tube 3. As a result, the positional accuracy can be improved. Moreover, the number of movable parts can be reduced and the machine accuracy is improved since there is no mechanical operation portion for driving the X-ray tube 3. By reducing the number of movable parts, the X-ray imaging apparatus 1 and the X-ray tube 3 can be constructed inexpensively.
