Abstract:
To provide an X-ray generator to enable output of variable energy with high directivity in a small apparatus.
The X-ray generator to generate X-ray by resonant transition radiation by irradiating electrons on a specified target has a ring-shaped slit 3. The ring-shaped slit 3 has a central axis of straight line including the extension line extending in the direction of incident electron beam to the target from the point of the X-ray source at the opposite side of the electron source pinching the target and allows passing of the X-ray only in the ring-shaped part with determined radii R1 and R2.
