Abstract:
This X-ray imaging device (100) is provided with: an air bag (5) within which the air pressure fluctuates in response to body movement associated with the breathing of a subject (K); an air pressure detection means (71) for detecting the air pressure transmitted from the air bag (5); and a calculation means (72) for calculating, on the basis of the air pressure detected by the air pressure detection means (71), information regarding instructions for the timing of irradiation with an X-ray beam (L). Thus, provided are an X-ray imaging device and an X-ray imaging method wherein an image can be captured at an appropriate breath timing without placing additional strain on the subject, even for subjects who find it difficult to hold breath at will, and an X-ray image of good quality can be obtained.
