Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for generating an X-ray laser beam by the energy of a small laser.
SOLUTION: A pulse laser is converted into a pulse train laser to prolong the substantial radiation time. Resonating mirrors 87, 89 are disposed at both sides of a target substance 85. Utilizing the pulse train laser raises the plasma generating efficiency and prolongs the duration time of the population inversion state, resulting in a good operation of the resonance system, thereby obtaining an intense resonance. An X-ray laser beam is generated by the energy of a small laser.
